“Four years ago, I was lost. Today, I’m writing my own storyโand helping others write theirs.”
I remember vividly what life felt like just a few years ago. Trapped in the suffocating grip of PTSD, I was stuck, unhappy, and deeply unfulfilled. My job drained me, my relationships felt toxic, and I couldnโt see a clear path forward. The weight of trauma from my childhood in Iran and my life as a journalist and activist in Afghanistan was heavy on my shoulders, making me feel powerless, silenced, and small.
Fast forward to todayโI hardly recognize that woman. Now, I wake up every morning with joy, purpose, and gratitude. I’m thriving as an author, a successful empowerment and resilience coach, and I’ve created a life filled with abundance, love, and deep fulfillment. Most importantly, I have transformed my trauma into strength, reclaiming my voice and powerfully sharing my story to inspire others.
How did I get here? How did I transform from feeling powerless to becoming powerful, from silence to abundance?
Hereโs the truth: Transformation is possible for you, too.

- I Reclaimed My Story
My memoir, The Woman Who Refused to Be Silenced, began when I courageously faced my childhood trauma and the painful experiences of displacement and oppression. I found healing by bravely acknowledging and telling my own story. - I Asked the Hard Questions
โWho am I beyond the pain and trauma?โ โWhat do I truly want from my life?โ Answering these questions honestly set me free to envision a new path forward. - I Took Radical Responsibility
Instead of blaming others or circumstances, I took full responsibility for my healing and happiness. My transformation began the moment I chose empowerment over victimhood. - I Invested in Mentorship
Hiring a coach accelerated my growth and provided accountability and clarity. This support was vital in guiding me through the toughest moments of my journey. - I Built New Habits
Meditation, journaling, and daily gratitude became my foundation. These practices strengthened my mental health and brought clarity to my purpose. - I Faced My Deepest Fears
I listed my fearsโspeaking publicly, sharing my story, and letting go of toxic relationshipsโand faced each fear one by one. My fears became my greatest strengths. - I Took Bold Action Daily
Change requires action. Writing my memoir, building my coaching business, speaking on stagesโeach step took courage but brought tremendous rewards.
